1. CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE POST.
1.1 The candidates applying for the post should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions.
Their admission at all the stages of the recruitment process will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility condition(s).
BGY takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidates have qualified for interview.
2. APPLICATION FORM:

4. DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION
4.1. Scanned Self Attested photocopies of all the educational qualifications, academic and professional, mark-sheets for all the years, degree/ diploma certificates starting from Senior Secondary/ Intermediate to highest academic/ professional qualification the candidate possesses, all certificates in claim of CCA, achievements/ distinction in Sports, Literary activities, Scouts & Guides, NCC, NSS etc., class X certificate for proof of date of birth, experience certificates etc.
5. CORRESPENDENCE WITH BGY
5.1 BGY will not enter into any correspondence with the candidates about their candidature.
5.2 The candidates should note that their admission to the recruitment process will be purely provisional based on the information given by them in the application form. This will be subject to verification of all the eligibility conditions by BGY.
5.3 Candidates may note that the BGY takes up the verification of eligibility conditions of a candidate, with reference to original documents, only after the candidate has qualified for interview. Unless the candidature is formally confirmed by BGY, it continues to be provisional.
5.4 The decision of the BGY as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the recruitment process shall be final.
6. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
6.1 Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject;
Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects: -
6.2 B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
6.3 Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English medium.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
7. SPECIAL PROVISION
7.1 Relaxation of B.Ed. qualification - In the absence of suitable candidates with B.Ed. Degrees , candidates with following qualification may be considered
in different categories without B.Ed. qualification –
Post graduate with 60% marks in Science subjects and 55% in Humanities subjects may be considered for the posts of PGTs, if suitable candidates with B.Ed. are not available.
7.2 Relaxation in CTET – In the absence of CTET qualified candidate, candidate without CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible as per BGY recruitment rules.
8. ELIGIBILITY OF APPLICANTS
8.1 All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post applied for and other conditions stipulated in this advertisement as on 15 July 2018.
Before applying they must satisfy themselves that they possess the essential qualifications prescribed for various posts. The applications of those candidates
not fulfilling the essential qualifications and other requirement will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be made in this regard.
8.2. Minimum and maximum age limit shall be 18 and 65 years respectively as on date of application.
9. HOW TO APPLY

Due care should be taken by the candidates to fill up their application form correctly. No column of the Application should be left blank.
Incomplete or defective application shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained
under any circumstances
A candidates who is or has been declared by the BGY to be guilty of:
9.1 Obtaining support for his candidature by the following means, namely:-
9.1.1 Offering illegal gratification to, or
9.1.2 Applying pressure on , or
9.1.3 Blackmailing, or threatening to black mail any person connected with the
recruitment process, or
9.2 Impersonating, or
9.3 Procuring impersonation by any person, or
9.4 Submitting fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with, or
9.5 Making statements which are incorrect/false or suppressing material information, or
9.6 Resorting to the following means in connection with his candidature for the examination, namely -
9.6.1 Obtaining copy of question paper through improper means,
9.6.2 Finding out the particulars of the persons connected with secret work relating
to the recruitment process.
9.6.3 Influencing the examiners, or
9.7 Using unfair means during the examination/ recruitment process, or
9.8 Writing obscene matter or drawing obscene sketches in the scripts, or
9.9 Misbehaving in the examination hall including tearing of the scripts, provoking fellow examiners to boycott examination, creating a disorderly scene and the like, or
9.10 Harassing or doing bodily harm to the staff employed by the BGY for the conduct of their examinations, or
9.11 Being in possession of or using any mobile phone, paper or any electronic equipment or device or any other equipment capable of being used as a communication device during the examination; or
9.12 Violating any of the instructions issued to candidates; or
10. MODE OF SELECTION AND SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
10.1 The mode of selection may include a written test, proficiency and/or performance test, practical classroom observation and personal interview.
10.2 In case even at the time of preliminary scrutiny, a candidate is allowed to appear at the written examination/ proficiency test or even if called for the interview and such candidate does not fulfill any of the laid down selection criteria, his/her candidature will automatically be treated as cancelled even after giving letter of appointment. Therefore, before submitting the application, the candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility criteria as laid down in this advertisement.
His/ her candidature will be purely provisional subject to eligibility being verified again after the test and/ or interview.
10.3 Candidate, who has been allowed to appear at the written test and/ or interview, should not presume that he/ she is eligible for appointment to the post.
10.4 BGY reserves the right to cancel his/ her candidature at any stage of the selection, if it is not as per the provisions laid down in this advertisement.
10.5 The decision of the BGY about the mode of selection to the post and eligibility conditions of the applicant shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
11. REASONS OF REJECTION
Applications not filled correctly and not as per the 'Guidelines' are liable to be rejected and the onus of such rejection would be on the applicant(s).
The following are the broad parameters of rejection of application of a candidate:
11.1 Non-receipt of any of the documentary proof in the form of attested photocopies of
11.2 Qualification, mark-sheets, other certificate (s) etc.
11.3 Not possessing the degree/ desired qualification up-to cut off date.
11.4 Not fulfilling any of the laid down eligibility criteria by cut off date.
11.5 Incomplete application or application not received on proper format
12. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES
12.1 Qualifications acquired by the candidates should be strictly in accordance with the prescribed qualifications and candidate should not seek claim of equivalence of their qualifications with that of qualifications as asked for. Wherein grades have been given, equivalence marks of gradation should be attached.
12.2 The Candidate should not fill in those qualifications in the application form for which they have appeared in any of the examination whose result is awaited/ withheld/ not declared.
12.3 A candidate must apply separately for a post.
12.4 Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
12.5 A candidate appearing for the written examination must bring with him/her a Pen, Pencil, Rubber and other stationary for examination purposes.
12.6 No Calculator, Cell Phone, Digital Diary, Weapon etc. will be allowed inside the examination/ interview hall.
12.7 B.G.Y. may, at its discretion, hold re-examination/ re-interview. The candidate will be required to appear for such re-examination/ re-interview at his/her own cost.
12.8 No TA/DA will be paid for appearing at the written tests/ practical test and interview.
12.9 The list of the short-listed candidates for interview will be available on the B.G.Y. website. The short-listed candidates will be sent e-mail for appearing at the interview to be held at B.G.Y premises.
12.10 Based on the overall performance in the written examination/ practical exam./ Interview, appointment letters will be issued by B.G.Y.
